first note
i’ve never kept a blog or a diary. i find it hard to regularly write coherent pieces on a particular topic and share them publicly. at the same time, i’ve always felt an inner need to express my thoughts.
maybe a personal website is a good place to start. i hope that, from time to time, i’ll be able to jot down a few notes here about me and the things that are important to me.
on 12 september, while i was completely absorbed in html and css, i created this website. a lot of work has already gone into it, but as for the actual content, right now there’s only a fledgling harmony dictionary. what makes things a little harder is that english isn’t my mother tongue. my english is good enough to fully understand information about subjects that interest me, but not yet good enough to express my own thoughts with the same ease.
i don’t want this website to be just another passing obsession. i want it to become a kind of personal space where i can keep expressing myself over time. i chose the elephant as the site’s symbol because elephants were a childhood special interest of mine. i read everything i could find about them, watched documentaries, drew them, and told everyone about them. every detail on this website is deeply personal and says something about me.
